What's New with The Ultimate Tree?
The 2009 Christmas Season is upon us and this year's Christmas display has been drawing a good crowd. We've added several new features to the show including a 7-foot LED wreath, and eight little Christmas trees.

What's new for 2008?
The 2008 videos are now available and are also posted on YouTube. See The Ultimate Tree Videos.
In 2008 the house was outlined in pixels much like those on the tree. Each pixel can be individually controlled to be any one of 16.7 million colors. Many of the house patterns reflect or complement what's going on with the tree.

This is a closeup of the LED pixels that line the roofline. The pixels and electronics are protected (kept dry) by a clear plastic tube.
|
|

The tubes were all assembled and tested in the off-months the warm, dry basement :)
|
|

Inside each tube is 10 pixels, a power supply, and the electronics to drive the pixels.

HGTV featured the Ultimate Tree in its holiday special "All Out
Christmas". You can see a clip of this special at The Ultimate Tree Videos.
